Below Deck: 8 Former Stews Who Could Replace Barbie (She’s Out Of Control)

Below Deck: 8 Former Stews Who Could Replace Barbie (She’s Out Of Control)

Some of the former Stews could easily replace Barbie Pascual since she has been awful on Below Deck. The 29-year-old Argentina native joined the Bravo series in February 2024. She debuted in season 11 as one of the Stews, with six years of experience in the yachting industry. Unlike other crew members, who stayed down to earth and showed sensibility, Barbie showcased ridiculous behavior, which quickly made her stand out. She disrespected her senior Chief Steward Fraser Olender and didn’t filter her thoughts before letting them out in front of others.

Barbie also showed frustration against fellow crew members soon after boarding St. David. She disrespected Stew Cat Baugh for not doing her job fast enough. Unlike other cast members who showed improvement and character development over the episodes, Barbie showed little to no care for improving herself. She became so notorious that viewers began speculating that the Captain would likely fire her, and she probably wouldn’t stay on the yacht for long. In one of the episodes, Chief Stew Fraser had enough of Barbie and her sassy attitude. He complained to the Captain about her.

8 Kate Chastain Could Replace Barbie

Below Deck Seasons 2-7

Among the four Stews on Below Deck season 11, Barbie may be the one who deserves to go. There’s already a huge list of amazing Stews who can easily replace her in the season and fulfill her duties with ease. One of the most ideal returns would be Kate Chastain. The middle-aged Stew was Captain Lee Rosbach’s right-hand woman from seasons 2 to 7. She was an excellent Chief Stew and handled her job well, as proven by her back-to-back returns on the series. While a senior, Kate could easily replace Barbie even if she worked as a temporary Stew.

7 Courtney Skippon Was A Memorable Stew

Courtney Skippon is also a great replacement for Barbie on Below Deck. The former Stew only got a season to showcase her skills. However, it was enough time for her to shine and prove herself as one of Below Deck’s best crew members. Courtney cared for the guests and their satisfaction above everything else. She also remained very professional in tough situations, regardless of the challenges. Courtney wasn’t just all skills but also very glamorous. She could easily take over Barbie’s position and certainly be an irreplaceable asset to Captain Kerry Titheradge’s team.

6 Aesha Scott Could Cross Over Again In The Franchise

Below Deck Down Under Seasons 1 & 2 and Below Deck Med Seasons 4 & 5

Aesha Scott played her role as the second Stewardess very well in Below Deck Mediterranean season 4, Sirocco. She was so good that Captain Sandy Yawn gave her another chance, calling her back to resume her role on The Wellington. Nowadays, Aesha is part of Captain Jason Chambers’ team in Below Deck Down Under. She is a senior now and works as the Chief Stew. When it comes to confidence, Aesha is very bold. The former Stew is all about work ethics and making the best out of the worst. She’s a team player, unlike Barbie.

5 Courtney Veale Could Be A Good Fit

Courtney Veale was exceptional in Below Deck Mediterranean season 6, Lady Michelle. She wasn’t just skillful but multi-talented, earning herself the position of a Lead Deckhand in the show’s season 7, Home. Courtney can also replace Barbie because she’s a phenomenal crew member with a likable personality. In 2021, the former Stew was labeled as a breakout comedy queen for her quirk remarks and on-screen comments. Courtney has worked as a bartender, a nanny, and a princess at Disneyland Paris. She has a unique combination of a sense of humor, beauty, and experience, which makes her far better than Barbie.

Lucy Edmunds was also a standout star in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4. While she was a junior Stew, she didn’t let the inexperience stop her from giving her peak performance. Lucy made some mistakes and quickly learned from them. Her humorous nature, funny expressions, and quirky responses gave viewers various memorable moments. Fans want Lucy to return and get another chance to shine. Therefore, Bravo would benefit by casting her and allowing her to take Barbie’s position as the Stew. Lucy’s dynamic with crew members will certainly make the show more entertaining.

3 Daisy Kelliher Could Shine On Below Deck

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Seasons 2-4

Daisy Kelliher from Below Deck Sailing Yacht can also replace Barbie. Apart from being one of her show’s most important crew members, Daisy has proven herself as an amazing Chief Stew. According to Cheatsheet, Lucy shared that Daisy was “the best” Stew she has ever worked with. While Daisy is already part of Captain Glenn Shephard’s crew, she could use time away from the Below Deck Sailing Yacht drama. Last time, the Ireland native was part of a love triangle with her two best friends. She’d probably enjoy joining Below Deck season 11 rather than continuing on the spin-off.

2 Natalya Scudder Has A Good Work Ethic

Below Deck Mediterranean Seasons 7 & 8

Natalya Scudder is the definition of drama. Her funny personality and her skills often complement her chaotic nature. While Natalya often gets in trouble, she also knows how to escape it while performing her duties. Unlike Barbie, who’s unlikable, Natalya is likable but dramatic. She would be a great addition to the Below Deck season 11 if the Captain allows her on the yacht. Natalya’s story was also incomplete in 2023 when she quit Below Deck Mediterranean because of Kyle Viljoen and Tumi’s behaviors. She’d probably appreciate her time away from those toxic crew members.

1 Margot Sisson Would Make A Good Addition

Below Deck Down Under Season 2

Below Deck Down Under’s Margot Sisson can replace Barbie in Below Deck season 11. Margot is a sincere and sweet Stew who likes to focus on her job without being a menace to her crew members. She was an absolute gem on Below Deck Down Under and deserves a chance to return to the series again. While Barbie is a pain in the backs of her crew members, Margot is a comforter. She also has a dry wit and is the voice of people. More important than everything else, the former Below Deck Stew is thankful and honest.
