A secret plaguing the Trenchard family since Belgravia was finally revealed in Belgravia: The Next Chapter episode 6, emotionally shattering both characters involved in the reveal. The secret of Frederick’s true parentage had been known to audiences since Belgravia’s final episode, and it deeply impacted Frederick and James’s childhoods, especially in the way it made Frederick’s early years rife with abuse from Oliver. While James revealing the secret of Frederick’s real parents was the most impactful revelation in the episode, Belgravia: The Next Chapter episode 6 also focused on Enright’s secret letters, providing more information about the secret addressee. Clara’s life was also full of action in the episode, because of the ordeal of the painting being bought and Stephen’s love declaration, which potentially upends all the new bonds she had formed with his friends.
