Batwoman’s time with the Outsiders has taken her on some truly terrifying adventures, from ending up in a bizarre club for villains and citizens to have adult interactions, to traveling to “Dimension Bat” and encountering different versions of Bruce Wayne across the Multiverse. Now, it seems, after a major reveal, she’s going to have to go on a journey to discover something for herself. It’s unclear what this reveal is, or what Batwoman is looking to find, but the journey is going to bring her into contact with a forgotten legacy of an old DC hero.
Jinny Hex is the great-great-grandaughter of Jonah Hex, a major DC character who existed during the old West time period. With a dangerous specter haunting the land, it’s not surprising that Batwoman would end up joining with Jinny to try and solve one last mystery. Jinny is a character who’s often a member of Young Justice, but hasn’t really shown up in comics lately, with her last appearance being way back in 2021. This new team up will hopefully be a much lighter experience for Batwoman, after her time in the Outsiders, and will give Jinny some much-needed time in the spotlight.

Batwoman has bounced from team to team, being a member of the Bat-Family, the Outsiders, Batman Inc, and even the Justice League. Now she’s finally taking some time for herself and traveling the world for her own reasons. It’s unclear exactly what she’s looking for or what she’s going to find, but after all of her dark adventures with the Outsiders, it’s not surprising that she needs some time away. Hopefully, Batwoman’s time with Jinny Hex will help her with whatever revelation sent her on this adventure to begin with.
