Bad Sisters Episode 7 Reveals Another Foiled Attempt To Kill John Paul

Screen Rant is excited to unveil a new sneak peek from this week’s episode of Bad Sisters, which premieres on Apple TV+ September 23. The dark comedy was created by Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe and Motherland), who has previously been nominated for an Emmy and won a BAFTA for writing. She also stars in the series as the eldest sister, Eva Garvey, who looks out for the rest of her siblings with the fierce protectiveness of a mother bear. Horgan leads the cast as one of five sisters who have made a big mess for themselves in the first episode.

One of her four sisters, Grace (played by Anne-Marie Duff), needs more protection than normal thanks to her abusive husband John Paul (Claes Bang). While the first several episodes of the highly-acclaimed Bad Sisters ran through a gamut of the sisters’ attempts on John Paul’s life—not counting Grace herself, who is slow to realize there’s anything wrong with her married life—the show has recently taken a turn for the more reflective. After the last two episodes made it clearer how JP chipped away at Grace’s confidence throughout their marriage, fans can expect that Grace herself will come to understand the same thing and either join her sisters or demand a divorce.

Screen Rant‘s exclusive clip from Bad Sisters episode 7 reveals that the last attempt to end JP, consisting of mixing nasal spray with Rohypnol, was not a success. While he did fall out of his boat without the ability to swim, he was not only rescued but now aware that someone wants to hurt him. Whether the Garvey sisters will ever manage to finish him off, not to mention get away with it, remains to be seen. Check out the full clip below:

The official synopsis for Bad Sisters episode 7, titled “Rest In Peace,” makes it clear that John Paul may start his own investigation into who is after him. Beyond that, the insurance investigators Thomas (Brian Gleason) and Matt (Daryl McCormack) will begin to mend their brotherhood after recent revelations tore them apart. The rest of the Garvey sisters are played by Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene, and Eve Hewson.
