Bachelor: Jesse Palmer Returns As Spring Baking Championship Host

Jesse Palmer, the host of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, has announced that he will return to Food Network as the host of Spring Baking Championship. Jesse, a former NFL quarterback, was the star of The Bachelor in 2004. He returned to the franchise in 2022 as the host of Clayton Echard’s season. He is currently the host of Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey’s season of The Bachelorette and will serve as the host of the upcoming Bachelor in Paradise season 8, which will debut in the fall.

Jesse hosted Spring Baking Championship on Food Network in 2017, succeeding the former host, Bobby Deen. On the competition show, contestants must create spring-themed desserts in a weeks-long competition in which the champion ends up winning a $50,000 grand prize. After Jesse left the series, Ali Khan, Clinton Kelly and Molly Yeh took the reins as host. Jesse has also been the host of Holiday Baking Championship from season 4 in 2017 to season 8 in 2021. Jesse is a fan-favorite on Food Network, and many viewers hoped that he would return to Spring Baking Championship.

In a post on Instagram, Jesse made his fans’ dreams come true as he announced that, after five years, he is returning as the host of Spring Baking Championship. The Bachelor franchise host shared a photograph of himself standing in front of the Spring Baking Championship pantry, which was filled with colorful and delicious baking ingredients. He captioned the picture, “It’s been 5 years…But I am SO HAPPY to announce that I’ll be returning as host of #SpringBakingChampionship on @foodnetwork and @discoveryplus!!!” Jesse’s fans filled the comments section with well wishes, saying that they were thrilled that he was returning to the show.

Jesse went on to say, “I’m bringing my pastels and dad jokes.” He included the hashtags #FeedTheHost, #EatLikeJesse, #Food, #FoodNetwork and #Baking. The Bachelorette host also shared an Instagram story from Spring Baking Championship judge Nancy Fuller with a photograph of herself with her hands on his arm. She captioned the picture, “Jesse Palmer is BACK!! I’m not letting go [two heart emojis].” Judge Kardea Brown also shared Jesse’s picture to her Instagram Story and wrote, “Look who’s back!!!!” Duff Goldman also serves as a judge on the show.

Fans of both The Bachelor and Spring Baking Championship are always happy to see Jesse on their screens. Although Spring Baking Championship presumably will not air until 2023, fans can look forward to seeing him throughout the summer on The Bachelorette and in the fall on Bachelor in Paradise. Jesse is a personable and respectful host who entertains without stealing the spotlight from the contestants on his shows. His return to Food Network is very exciting. Jesse brings an extra bit of sweetness to Spring Baking Championship.
