There Will Be No Season 9 Reunion

Though past seasons of Bachelor In Paradise have ended with a reunion, there is no plan to air a season 9 reunion. Instead of a reunion, the finale ended with a “where are they now” montage which revealed key updates, including the fact that Jess Girod, Mercedes Northup, and Blake Moynes are still single, Samantha Jeffries was finally able to use the bathroom, and that Olivia Lewis is still looking for someone to suck her toes. It was also revealed that Brayden Bowers and Aaron Schwartzman almost died when their boat sank off the coast of San Diego. The two were left treading water until they were rescued.

Brayden Bowers And Christina Mandrell Are Dating

The most surprising update revealed during the finale was that Brayden and Christina Mandrell are dating. Brayden is a travel nurse and contestant from Charity Lawson’s season of The Bachelorette. Christina, a single mom from Nashville, was a frontrunner on Zach Shallcross’ season of The Bachelor. According to the finale update, “Brayden is teaching Christina’s daughter how to accessorize.”
