Bachelor in Paradise season 9 contestant Kat Izzo wants to pursue a relationship with John Henry Spurlock, even though he’s already dating Olivia Lewis, but will Kat and John Henry end up engaged in the end? When John Henry arrived on the beach, he asked Olivia to join him on a date. However, Kat became interested in him after Tanner Courtad broke up with her. Kat decided that she wanted to kiss John Henry, and began talking to him in order to try to spark a romantic connection.
On Bachelor in Paradise season 9 episode 6, John Henry told Olivia that she was his number one and his priority, but he admitted that he also liked talking to Kat. However, the previews indicate that Kat and John Henry’s romantic connection will grow stronger in the coming episodes. They were shown kissing on the beach in one of the first promos for the show, and also in the previews for the next episode. Now spoilers reveal how this love triangle is resolved by the end of the season.
Who Is Kat Izzo?
Kat is a 27-year-old registered nurse from Tampa, Florida. She first appeared on Zach Shallcross’ Bachelor season, during which they formed a strong connection. However, they eventually broke up after Kat expressed doubts about Zach meeting her family during the hometown dates. During Zach’s season, Kat was often portrayed as a villain with a soft side. That seems to be the case again on Bachelor in Paradise season 9.
Who Is John Henry Spurlock?
John Henry is a 31-year-old underwater welder from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He got his start on Charity Lawson’s Bachelorette season. However, John Henry was eliminated in week 2 after not forming a connection with Charity. He’s known for being a shy and reserved man.
Are Kat & John Henry Still Together?
According to Reality Steve, Kat and John Henry got engaged at the end of Bachelor in Paradise season 9. They got engaged in Mexico during the finale, and they’re still together. As for Olivia, it’s unclear what happened to her during the remainder of the season, and if she left the show after she and John Henry split up.
Kat and John Henry are a truly unexpected couple. She’s very outspoken, while he’s reserved, but perhaps it’s true that opposites attract. It’ll be intriguing to see how their relationship develops and eventually leads to them getting engaged. They must have felt a very strong connection considering that Bachelor in Paradise season 9 only filmed for about two and half weeks, and they weren’t a couple from the beginning. Hopefully, Kat and John Henry are a perfect match, and their engagement will lead to another Bachelor in Paradise marriage.
