Bachelor in Paradise season 9 couple Jess Girod and Blake Moynes have been going strong since their first day in Mexico, but are they still together post-show? So far, Jess and Blake have had an exclusive relationship. Although during Hannah Brown’s “Burning Questions” bonfire Blake admitted that he might be interested in dating someone new who came down to the beach, he also said that he wasn’t willing to risk what he had with Jess for anyone who was currently on the beach. Jess expressed interest in Tanner Courtad, but he invited Kat Izzo on his date instead after speaking with both of them when he arrived on the beach.
Bachelor in Paradise season 9 has already seen several couples break up including Will Urena and Olivia Lewis, Will and Kylee Russell, and Kat Izzo and Brayden Bowers. As new people arrive on the beach, there’s always the possibility that relationships could come to an abrupt end. Although Jess and Blake have had a fantastic start, will they make it to the end of Bachelor in Paradise season 9 together?
Who Is Jess Girod?
Jess is a 24-year-old e-commerce coordinator from Winter Springs, Florida. She first appeared on Zach Shallcross’ Bachelor season. She was known for wearing a lot of glitter, which she’s still rocking in Paradise. Jess and Zach had a strong connection, but she was confused and upset when she realized that she was one of the only contestants who didn’t have a one-on-one date with him later in the season. When she confronted Zach about it, their argument escalated, and he eliminated her on the spot.
Who Is Blake Moynes?
Blake, a 32-year-old wildlife manager from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, is a Bachelor Nation staple. He began his journey in 2020 on Clare Crawley’s season. When Clare left early, he stayed to see if he had a connection with Tayshia Adams. She eliminated him right before the hometown dates. The following year, Blake returned to try to win Katie Thurston’s heart on her Bachelorette season. They fell in love and got engaged. However, they broke up a few months later.
Are Jess & Blake Still Together?
According to Reality Steve, Jess and Blake don’t leave Bachelor in Paradise season 9 as a couple or engaged. In fact, Blake self-eliminates from the season. It’s unclear why he left, but he wasn’t eliminated at a rose ceremony. It’ll be interesting to see what effect Katie’s arrival on the beach has on Blake, since it was the first time they spoke since their break-up two years ago. Although Katie didn’t go to Paradise to date, her appearance could’ve shaken him to the point that he felt that he had to leave.
So far, Blake and Jess have been a cute couple on Bachelor in Paradise. They seem to really like each other, so it’s disappointing to hear that they didn’t end up together at the end of the show. However, there’s always a chance that they could reconcile after filming like previous Bachelor in Paradise couples Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer, and Thomas Jacobs and Becca Kufrin, who are now engaged. Time will tell if Blake and Jess’ story continues after Paradise.
