Bachelor In Paradise Season 8: Who Left Together But Not Engaged (SPOILERS)

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Bachelor in Paradise season 8 does not premiere until the fall, but fans don’t have to wait to find out who left the show as couples but not engaged. Bachelor in Paradise brings together contestants from The Bachelorette and The Bachelor on the beaches of Mexico to give them a second chance at love. With host Jesse Palmer and bartender Wells Adams there to give advice and guide them, the contestants try their luck again at potential romances on reality TV. Some couples meet and have an immediate connection, while others take a bit longer to realize they are compatible. In addition, love triangles form, and drama ensues as the singles look for love on the beach. A record-breaking 43 people joined the cast of Bachelor in Paradise season 8, so there are plenty of possibilities for love matches.

Bachelor in Paradise season 7 was one of the most successful as many of the couples are still together a year later. Two couples who got engaged, Mari Pepin and Kenny Braasch and Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile, are currently planning their weddings. In addition, Abigail Heringer and Noah Erb, who broke up during the season, reconciled after the show and are still going strong. Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs also got back together after filming, and are now engaged after she proposed to him in May. After causing controversy with their relationships, Pieper James and Brendan Morais and Alana Milne and Chris Conran are also still together, proving their love was true after all.

According to a tweet from Reality Steve, there are two couples from Bachelor in Paradise season 8 who left together but did not get engaged. The first one is Brittany Galvin and Tyler Norris. Brittany appeared on Matt James’ season of The Bachelor, during which Anna Redman falsely accused her of being an escort. Because she was a late arrival sent to disrupt the season, many of the women were jealous of her and created a false narrative. Tyler is currently appearing on Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey’s season of The Bachelorette. Although rumor has it that Tyler makes it to Rachel’s final 4 and receives a hometown date, he obviously does not end up with her if he went on BIP and found love.

The other Bachelor in Paradise season 8 couple who found love but did not get engaged is Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio. Danielle first appeared on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor and later she participated in Bachelor in Paradise season 4, during which she became close friends with bartender Wells. The two even shared a kiss before she left the beach. Before her time with The Bachelor franchise, Danielle was engaged in 2011, but she lost her fiancé to an apparent drug overdose. This may have helped her to bond with Michael from Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette, who lost his wife to cancer in 2019. He is now a single father to their five-year-old son, James. Michael left Katie’s season in week 7 after his son expressed in a FaceTime call that he thought Michael was gone because he did not want to see him. At that moment, Michael knew he had to go home and be there for his son.

Bachelor in Paradise has led to some incredible relationships that led to marriage and even children for some of the contestants. Although these Bachelor in Paradise season 8 couples did not leave the show engaged, they might still eventually get married, following in the footsteps of past couples. Bachelor in Paradise season 8 is sure to heat things up this fall.

Bachelor in Paradise premieres Tuesday, September 27 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
