Bachelor: Arie & Lauren Share First Photos Of Their Twins On Instagram

Former The Bachelor stars Arie Luyendyk and Lauren Burnham shared their first photo of their twins earlier this week. The couple met on Arie’s season of the reality series in 2018 and became engaged during the After The Final Rose ceremony. However, Arie received a lot of backlash that season for not choosing Lauren from the beginning. He was originally engaged to Becca Kufrin, but broke it off after he realized his feelings for Lauren.

After Arie’s season came to an end, he and Lauren began building their life together. They moved to Arizona, where Arie now works as a realtor, and they also run their own YouTube channel. The pair married in Hawaii less than a year after their engagement and announced, shortly after, that they were expecting their first child together. Lauren gave birth to their daughter, Alessi, in summer 2019.

On Tuesday, the former race car driver shared the first photo of his newborn twins with his wife, Lauren, on Instagram. “Never been prouder of my wife than in this moment. She is the strongest woman I know and I’m lucky to be on this incredible journey with her,” Arie wrote in the caption. “We are proud parents of a healthy boy and girl!” The intimate images show Lauren in a hospital gown and surgical cap, looking content as she holds her newborns close to her while laying in the hospital bed. He also shared photos of their baby girl’s hand grasping the 29-year-old’s finger, their infant son sleeping peacefully, and Arie’s hand on their newborn daughter. Lauren shared the same snaps on her own account, including one of their newborns sleeping next to one another.

Last weekend, the couple announced that Lauren had given birth to their twins. Aries revealed the exciting news on his Instagram Stories on Saturday, noting, “@luyendyktwins are here! Momma and babies are doing great, and everything went smoothly.” Before welcoming their new bundles of joy, Arie praised Lauren for being a “tough woman” as she struggled more with nausea this time around. The couple announced they were expecting again in December 2020 after suffering a miscarriage in May. A few days after the first announcement, they confirmed they were having twins, one boy and one girl.

Arie and Lauren must feel over the moon since welcoming their little bundles of joy. The Bachelor alums have been waiting for this moment for over a year, and now their family is finally full. Congratulations to Arie and Lauren on welcoming the cutest little babies.
