Deadline reports that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton, who was set to helm Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, has officially stepped down from helming the Phase 6 movie. However, the departure is being described as amicable as he is continuing to work on Wonder Man for Marvel Studios and Disney+ while still developing Shang-Chi 2. The trade also mentions that Cretton is already “in talks with Marvel Studios about directing future movies,” although no specific titles were referenced.
