The producer joked that he would make sure his Wikipedia page didn’t reflect this, bringing an end to the subtitle’s use. Check out what Landau had to say below:

I’m qualified to tell you that that is not the title for Avatar 3. That’s what my Wikipedia page says? That is getting changed tonight!

Everything We Know About Avatar 3

Avatar 3 Title Rumor Debunked By Producer: “That Is Getting Changed Tonight!”

Avatar 3 will introduce a new group of Na’vi to the franchise who live in a volcanic part of the planet. This new group will no doubt be part of the escalating conflict between Pandora’s natives and the RDA’s attempts to use their world for the benefit of humanity. The film will also see the return of Quaritch as an antagonistic force, following Spider saving his life at the end of Avatar: The Way of Water.

The film is also expected to have a larger focus on Jake’s children, especially Lo’ak and Kiri. While both characters were prominent parts of the previous movie, Avatar 3 will feature narration from Lo’ak to further underscore the change in focus for the franchise. As the next generation becomes the core focus of the series, it seems anything could happen to the Sully family moving forward.

Avatar 3 will also be setting the stage for Avatar 4 and Avatar 5, both of which will continue exploring new areas of Pandora and the human threats the Na’vi face. With details about future films wrapped in even more mystery, it’s unclear what their titles could end up becoming. However, Landau’s debunking of Avatar: The Seed Bearer as the next film’s title exhibits just how much mystery is still in store for the upcoming installments.
