The trailer for Atlas showcases the new Jennifer Lopez sci-fi thriller. The movie, which was directed by San Andreas‘ Brad Peyton, features the singer and actor as Atlas Shepherd, a data analyst who finds herself on a compromised mission where she is forced to reluctantly team with artificial intelligence in order to save the world. The ensemble cast of the movie also includes Simu Liu, Sterling K. Brown, Mark Strong, Abraham Popoola, and Lana Parrilla.

The trailer opens on a quiet but terrifying moment where Atlas seems to be stranded in a space shuttle and is desperately asking “Do you copy?” After that, the world in which the movie takes place, as well as the characters surrounding Lopez’s, are explored in a variety of quick, anxiety-inducing clips.
