Assassin’s Creed Mirage: All Khidmah Tokens & How to Use Them

Assassin’s Creed Mirage: All Khidmah Tokens & How to Use Them

Khidmah Tokens in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage have many uses, but that is not always clear in the early stages of the game. Part of Basim’s journey in Baghdad is learning how to navigate the city while maintaining a good standing among the civilians and hiding from the guards. This can be determined by how Basim interacts with them by using the Khidmah Tokens to earn favors.

In the return to the roots of the series in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, players will have to depend much more on stealth than they did in the previous main entries to the series. Basim has to find a way to interact with the civilians while maintaining his anonymity and keeping a low profile. This can be done by using Khidmah Tokens, but finding them in the early stages of the game can be a bit of a challenge.

How To Find & Use Khidmah Tokens

Assassin’s Creed Mirage: All Khidmah Tokens & How to Use Them

Basim’s Notoriety will increase quickly in the early portions of Assassin’s Creed: Mirage’s story, by chance or by the game’s design. It is not until a main mission later in the game that Basim will be told how to use these tokens, around the time he must infiltrate the Damascus Gate Prison. The first Power Token will be given to Basim around this time, but there are ways to acquire one before that if necessary.

There are two main ways to find a Khidmah Token, and before opening up the Contract Board, Basim will have to find these by using Pickpocketing skills. Any of these Tokens can be found by Pickpocketing passersby, but this will also require Basim to do so without being seen, otherwise, his Notoriety will increase. Pickpocketing checks can become easier by unlocking Skills under the Predator Tree.

The other way to find them is to wait until the Contract Board is available to Basim, which will open up side quests that Basim can fulfill to earn any of the three types of Tokens. These missions will range in difficulty, and Basim can earn more Tokens by completing optional side objectives. The Tokens can then be used automatically when Basim interacts with someone who can use them or when he approaches a chest that can be unlocked with them.

The first type of Khidmah Token is a Power Token, which will be the most useful type of Token he can use in the game. These can be used to bribe Mercenaries to attack nearby guards as a distraction or to intervene if Basim is spotted. Additionally, they can also be used to Decrease Basim’s Notoriety by giving them to a Munadi, which is useful immediately upon receiving them if Basim has gotten himself in trouble.

The second type of Khidmah Token is a Merchant Token, which is how Basim can open Gear Chests and pay Merchant Groups to ask them to help you blend in to enter restricted areas. Without Merchant Tokens, Basim cannot find some of the better gear in the game. They can also be used to get discounts from Traders, but it is best to save them for opening chests or paying for a disguise.

The last type of token is a Scholar Token, which is mostly used to pay for distractions from Musicians to enter areas unseen. However, they have a secondary use of being able to pay Cartographers for maps of Baghdad in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, which can help you find hidden treasures and locations. Scholar Tokens are not as useful in the early parts of the game, but they do make finding the last bits of treasure needed to finish the game to completion easier.
