In MTV’s romance series Are You The One?, all the contestants need to find their “perfect match” by end of the series in order to win a one million dollar cash prize as a team. The show attracted some strong characters, all looking to find love, and some in fact did. Some of the cast immediately grabbed fans’ attention with their sparkling personalities and screen-worthy love stories, and viewers continued to be interested in the cast’s lives after the game ended.
Starring in Are You The One? gave participants a social platform that many have used to build businesses, careers, and huge followings. While some contestants have opted for a quieter life, many of the cast from the eight seasons of the show have chosen to stay very much in the spotlight. But which of them has the biggest Instagram following?
Kaylen Zahara – 292,000 Followers
Kaylen appeared on season four of Are You The One? and described herself as a dominant alpha-woman. Although Kaylen’s perfect match was Asaf, she immediately hit it off with Giovanni and the pair had a rollercoaster relationship on and off the show but are no longer together.
After the show, Kaylen went on Are You The One: Second Chances and has since built a career as a digital influencer. Most of her Instagram posts are of herself looking glamorous in beautiful and sunny locations.
Kam Williams – 353,000 Followers
Kam was on the fifth season of Are You The One? and was shown as a confident, pro-active, and upfront individual. During the fifth week of the series, Kam and castmate Eddie went to the Truth Booth and were the first perfect match found on that series of the show.
Since appearing on Are You The One?, she competed on MTV’s The Challenge and Kam has made a name as a TV personality. Kam also stays busy running ‘Kam Kollection’ – her beauty, cosmetic, and personal care business. Her Instagram content includes fashion, food, the gym, and shots of idyllic beaches.
Clinton Moxam – 412,000 Followers
Appearing on season six of Are You The One?, Clinton was very popular among his female castmates from the very beginning. However, although there were lots of people who were interested in him, he only had eyes for Uche.
Uche turned out not to be his perfect match on Are You The One? but did turn out to be his perfect match in real life, making Clinton and Uche one of the best ever couples on the series. The two got engaged in 2020 and very recently got married. The pair now have a YouTube channel together and Clinton’s Instagram revolves around him being a fitness influencer and model.
Maria Elizondo – 432,000 Followers
Having starred in season seven of Are You The One?, Maria found out her perfect match was Shamoy in her second visit to the truth booth.
Since the show, Maria has gone on to star in another MTV reality TV show: A Double Shot At Love. She has gone on to become a social media influencer and has numerous followers on not only Instagram, but other social media sites too: she has 26,900 followers on YouTube, 126,600 followers on TikTok, and 70,000 followers on Twitter.
Michael Johnson – 443,000 Followers
Michael appeared in season six of Are You The One?, the highest rated of the show according to IMDb. In the series, Michael initially made a connection with Keyana, and then Audrey, but drama ensued when he subsequently hooked up with Geles. It turned out that Keyana was actually his perfect match all along.
Now, Michael has settled down and is married with a daughter. He is now a personal trainer, fitness social media influencer, and is a sponsored athlete for Leorever and MuscleTech.
Tai Verdes – 504,000 Followers
Alongside Michael Johnson and Clinton Moxam, the then-known-as Tyler Colon appeared in the sixth series of the show. Tyler was a low-key and low drama cast member, but always came across really well on the show. Although his perfect match was Nicole, nothing ever really happened between the pair.
Since the show, he has been making some serious moves in the music industry. He has released an album and a couple of his songs became TikTok staples for other creators’ videos. Most of what Tai posts on Instagram relates to his career in music, including snippets of his performances.
Tyler Abron – 575,000 Followers
When Tyler appeared on the second series of Are You The One?, she immediately explained that she was used to being unlucky in love. The final episode saw Layton pick Christina as his perfect match, even though picking Tyler would have guaranteed them the winning money. Luckily for Tyler and her castmates, Layton’s attempt at a big romantic gesture for Christina still won them the one million dollars.
Since the show, Tyler has developed a career as a host and an actor, starring in The Breaks in 2016 and The Family Business in 2018. According to her Instagram, she also has a few more projects in the pipeline.
Tori Deal – 655,000 Followers
Appearing in season four of Are You The One?, Tori was immediately popular with fans because of her high energy levels and infectious personality. In the show, she fell for castmate Morgan and it turned out they were indeed a perfect match.
Although their relationship stretched beyond the series, Tori soon fell for Morgan’s roommate Mike from season three of Are You The One?. Tori subsequently appeared in Are You The One: Second Chances and The Challenge. She also wrote a children’s book, co-created Suiheart Club, was an executive producer for the film The Stalking Fields, and hosts her own podcast. Tori’s Instagram page is very dynamic and she has posted a lot of different kinds of content, from selfies to poetry.
Taylor Selfridge – 953,000 Followers
After Taylor and Tyler initially hit it off, Tyler quickly strayed, making way for Taylor to build a connection with Andre. However, neither of them turned out to be right for her and her perfect match turned out to be Osvaldo.
However, since starring in season five of the show, Taylor found love with Cory Wharton, who appeared on The Challenge and Teen Mom OG. Taylor and her family now have their own YouTube channel where they post videos about their family’s life, and her Instagram is full of photographs of her family.
Kristyn (Cheyenne) Floyd – 1,600,000 Followers
Appearing on season three of Are You The One?, Cheyenne’s most significant relationship on the show was with Nelson. However, her perfect match turned out to be Tyler. Cheyenne has also appeared on Teen Mom OG and The Challenge, where she met Cory Wharton (who is now Taylor Selfridge’s partner) and had a baby with him.
Since then, she has had a second child with fiancé Zach Davis, who has also starred on Teen Mom OG, and they have a YouTube channel about their lives. Similarly to Taylor, most of Cheyenne’s Instagram content is about family life.
