While Baldwin and Davis are unlikely to return, there are plenty of characters for the Beetlejuice sequel to pay homage to. Delia and Charlie Deetz could appear, but Jeffrey Jones’ history as a sex offender makes Charlie’s appearance less likely. Fan-favorite characters like Otho, Juno, and Miss Argentina could return, but the roles would need to be taken on by new actors as the original stars – Glenn Shadix, Sylvia Sidney, and Patrice Martinez – have sadly passed away since Beetlejuice‘s original release.

Due to the time that has passed since the original Beetlejuice film, it is likely Keaton and Ryder will be the only ones to play significant roles in the sequel. Some of the minor Beetlejuice characters could return, such as Annie McEnroe’s Jane. However, Beetlejuice 2 will likely focus on new characters as they meet the iconic ghost with the most Beetlejuice.
