Are 90 Day Fiancé’s Jibri & Miona Faking Their Split? (Signs They’re Still Together)

Are 90 Day Fiancé’s Jibri & Miona Faking Their Split? (Signs They’re Still Together)

90 Day Fiancé couple Jibri Bell and Miona Bell are most likely still together but faking their divorce on social media for a very selfish reason. Jibri, a 28-year-old man from South Dakota, met Miona, 25, while he was performing with his band Black Serbs in her country. Jibri and Miona got engaged in Thailand, and she came to the U.S. on a K-1 visa in season 9. Miona didn’t want to stay in Jibri’s parents’ house in a small town as she believed she was made for LA. Jibri claimed he was low on funds, but their social media lifestyle told a different story.

By the time Jibri and Miona debuted in 90 Day Fiancé season 9, they had already been a part of enough controversies. Fans knew what to expect from their storyline. Miona’s Instagram ID was already @mionabell, which was a huge spoiler about their storyline in itself. Moreover, Jibri had referred to Miona as his wife in an old video interview with a Serbian news channel. Miona was previously identified as Jibri’s wife in a Telegraf article. The article was published in June 2020, which was much before Jibri and Miona filmed season 9. Fans suspected Jibri and Miona had been secretly married for years and fabricating segments of their storyline.

Jibri & Miona Need To Stay Relevant

Are They Washed-Up Reality TV Stars?

Miona and Jibri Bell from 90 Day Fiancé Season 9

90 Day Fiancé fans were quick to label Jibri and Miona as clout chasers. They were building a strong social media presence upon their debut by pushing their Cameo accounts, TikTok, and YouTube, and doing Instagram Lives asking people to buy badges. They had a shared page to attract more followers and the incessant self-promotion being done when they were barely two episodes old in the season was not appreciated by viewers. Jibri and Miona began selling clothes that they wore on the show on their Poshmark account. Jibri claimed he sold his ripped pants from a 90 Day Fiancé episode to someone for $28,000.

Knowing how fame-hungry Jibri and Miona have been, it’s not surprising that they want to be relevant and want to keep people talking about them now that they’re not on 90 Day Fiancé anymore. Their breakup rumors started suddenly in October 2023 when Miona removed all of her and Jibri’s photos and videos from her feed, including their wedding post. While Miona did not respond to questions about the split on Instagram, Jibri had replied, “yes” to a fan when they asked if he and Miona were still married. It’s been three months since Jibri and Miona have been playing these guessing games with fans.

Miona & Jibri Are Angling For A New Spin-Off

They’re Copying The Kalani-Asuelu Drama

Jibri and Miona’s puzzles might never end until they get signed up for a spin-off. Jibri and Miona’s split rumors are quite similar to those involving Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa. Kalani was in America, much like Miona when Asuelu was visiting Samoa like Jibri is currently in Asia. This distance between the couple had fueled rumors of a breakup and soon, Kalani had started posting IG stories showing a man’s tattooed hands as she went out for dates with him. The man turned out to be Kalani’s “hall pass” boyfriend, Dallas Nuez. Miona has been following in Kalani’s footsteps by sharing her date night IG stories while Jibri is in Thailand.

Miona’s stories also show a man’s hands as he enjoys dinner or walks hand in hand with her in a museum, and clearly, those do not belong to Jibri. Considering Kalani and Asuelu’s next step was to show up on 90 Day: The Last Resort to confirm they were getting divorced and Kalani was seeing someone else, Miona and Jibri could have hatched a grand plan to do things the same way, inspired by Asuelu and Kalani. Jibri and Miona were last seen together in the 90 Day Fiancé season 9 Tell All in August 2022.

Most of their co-stars from the show, apart from Yve Arellano and Mohamed Abdelhamed, have been a part of various spin-offs since the season ended, such as Happily Ever After? or 90 Day Dairies, or even Pillow Talk. Miona and Jibri haven’t been able to stay on TV and stay relevant. They could be itching to star in a spin-off like their co-stars, so they can make the most of their 15 minutes of fame. 90 Day: The Last Resort could be their last resort to make a comeback, even if it means they fake a breakup for popularity’s sake.

Miona Is Using The “Split” To Market Her Wigs

Miona Wants More Millions In Her Bank Account

Miona had already created her Miona Beauty page on Instagram before her debut as she could predict she was going to make it big thanks to season 9. In July 2022, she launched her business even before the show ended. Miona claimed she made $20,000 in one week by selling ponytails and extensions. In August 2022, Miona made around $87,000 a month and bought luxury cars for her and her husband. In April 2023, Jibri claimed his wife Miona was a millionaire at 25. In July 2023, she posted a screenshot of her “Total sales” on Instagram, totaling “$1,357,056.”

Viewers were certain Miona didn’t make a million dollars so quickly, because they were aware of the difference between total sales and profit. Meanwhile, Miona is still hustling hard to make another million thanks to her supposed high number of sales on Instagram. All of Miona’s posts on IG are ones promoting her ponytail brand. Fans have been keeping a close eye on Miona’s Instagram updates to see whether she confirms her split from Jibri. Miona could be hoping for fans to come to her page for a divorce confirmation and stay for her high-quality wigs. She recently posted pictures wearing a wooly blue jacket as she waited for “snow in California.

Miona promoted her “Mini Ponytail in color 2/27/613” which was on sale. Instagram users didn’t fail to notice the placement of Miona’s hands in the photos. It was a deliberate attempt made by Miona to show she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring anymore. “Girl letting us know there no more ring on that finger poor Jibril,” a fan wrote in the comments. When it comes to addressing the split speculations, Miona is letting her photos do the talking while also marketing her wigs like the true millionaire businesswoman that she is.

Miona & Jibri Still Follow Each Other On Instagram

Are They Still Friends After The Alleged Split?

While Miona may have seemingly moved on and removed any trace of Jibri from her Instagram, he still exists in one place. Miona is still following Jibri on Instagram and he is also following his 90 Day Fiancé wife. Jibri and Miona might want to show their fans that they’ve decided to remain friends after their supposed split, but then again, why are they not sharing a statement to confirm the split, instead of going around in circles and keeping them guessing their relationship status?
