Anson Mount dropped a new tease about Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3. The highly-anticipated third season of Strange New Worlds is in production in Toronto after being delayed for 7 months by the dual WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. While Strange New Worlds season 3 is top-secret, it’s following up the acclaimed Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 2, which featured the historic crossover episode with Star Trek: Lower Decks and Star Trek‘s first-ever musical episode.
On his Instagram (@ansonmount), Anson Mount gave his followers a brief tour of his trailer on the Toronto set of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. After showing off his digs, which has a fireplace not unlike the one found in Captain Christopher Pike’s kitchen, Mount revealed they are about to begin filming Strange New Worlds season 3 episode 7. We are plugging away. We’re starting episode 7 today. Very excited about it. This is a fun one… I can’t tell you why, obviously. But it’s something different, something I’ve never done before.
