Now that the player has a fishing rod, approach the nearby river or ocean. A shadow should appear in the water. Be careful not to move too quickly, or else this will scare the fish away. Make sure to cast out the line as close to the fish as possible. The player will notice if the fish notices the line since the fish will begin to approach it.
