Anakin Skywalker Finally Claims The Empire… State Building In Tremendous New Video

Beloved Anakin Skywalker actor Hayden Christensen may not rule Star Wars’ Empire any longer, but he has managed to take over New York City’s Empire State Building in an incredible new video. Although Christensen had a gap in his Star Wars appearances following Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, he has since returned as Anakin in Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka. As one of Star Wars’ most powerful Jedi throughout Star Wars’ movies and TV shows, Anakin continues to be a fan-favorite, highlighted by Christensen’s frequent returns.

The video, posted on X (formerly Twitter) by Star Wars, shows Hayden Christensen standing next to Darth Vader, bringing together both versions of Anakin Skywalker. Christensen can be seen smiling brightly in front of an Empire State Building miniature as the Imperial March plays in the background.

It’s wonderful to see Hayden Christensen continue to represent Anakin Skywalker at various events, and it makes the idea of Christensen’s return to the galaxy far, far away even more exciting.

Although Hayden Christensen’s next appearance has yet to be confirmed by Star Wars, his return seems all but guaranteed. Not only has Christensen voiced his willingness to reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker, but also, each return in recent years has been met with great celebration from Star Wars audiences. The most probable next inclusion of Anakin is in Ahsoka season 2, which is currently in the works.

In the Ahsoka season 1 finale, Anakin was on Peridea as a Force ghost, looking down upon Ahsoka, who is now trapped on the planet. While that doesn’t guarantee his return, it would be an odd opportunity for Star Wars to pass up. As a Force ghost, there are innumerable opportunities for Anakin to resurface, now with significantly more autonomy, and viewers are eager to see master and apprentice heal their relationship even more in the wake of Anakin’s fall to the dark side and transition to Darth Vader.
