Amazing Ahsoka Supercut Gets The Seal of Approval From Ashley Eckstein & Rosario Dawson

An incredible Ahsoka Tano supercut shows Ahsoka’s difficult Star Wars journey, earning recognition from the animated Ahsoka voice actress Ashley Eckstein and the live-action Ahsoka actress Rosario Dawson. Ahsoka was introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie to mixed reception, but she gained fast favor through her animated appearances in The Clone Wars show and in Star Wars Rebels. She has since appeared in live-action in The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka. Throughout Ahsoka’s Star Wars timeline, she has had a difficult, at times painful journey, and it seems one person is the crux of the problem.

The supercut, posted by figurebrian on Instagram, shows major moments in Ahsoka Tano’s life throughout The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, focusing in particular on her relationship with the Jedi, the Force, and her former master, Anakin Skywalker. In fact, the video in many ways demonstrates the extent to which Anakin himself is responsible for much of Ahsoka’s Jedi path, the heartbreaking moments included.

Even the Ahsoka Tano actresses agree that the supercut is a work of art, with Rosario Dawson liking the Instagram post and Ahsley Eckstein sharing the video via her Instagram story with the note, “OMG!!!! THIS VIDEO BY @FIGUREBRIAN IS AMAZING!!!!”

Ahsoka’s Life Has Been Defined By Her Time With Anakin Skywalker

As the video depicts, Anakin had a profound impact on Ahsoka’s life, and that didn’t stop even after Anakin had turned to the dark side of the Force and became Darth Vader. When Ahsoka was introduced as Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan, it was clear that Anakin didn’t really want her; in fact, he tried to get rid of her, telling the clones that she wasn’t with him. Over time, though, the two grew incredibly close, with Ahsoka even describing him as her older brother at one point and Anakin insisting multiple times that he would never let anything happen to her.

While their relationship is touching to watch for that reason, though, this actually spelled extensive trouble for Ahsoka. Anakin is infamous for struggling severely with attachments and not being able to let go, and, while Ahsoka certainly didn’t follow Anakin’s path, she picked up some of his bad habits, attachment being one of them. Because of that, after Order 66 and, perhaps more so, when Ahsoka learned of Anakin’s true fate as Darth Vader, she was devastated, even passing out from the revelation.

The Ahsoka show then revealed that, over time, this pain didn’t ease. Instead, by the beginning of Ahsoka, she was still distanced from the way of the Jedi, pained by her memories of the past, and plagued by grief and guilt. Because of her most recent encounter with Anakin in the World Between Worlds, she has ultimately accepted that she is a Jedi, letting go of what happened to her in the past. Even that, though, shows that Anakin Skywalker truly dictated Ahsoka Tano’s path in life and continues to do so still now.
