The movie version of the concert was released to universal acclaim, with critics praising the cinematography, styling, and Swift’s spectacular musical performances across her different eras; it was the highest-rated musical movie of 2023 (via Rotten Tomatoes).

One of the few criticisms the theatrical version received was the final run-time compared to the live concerts.
