Akira Toriyama’s New Anime SAND LAND Gets Official Dub Release Date

Sand Land is the new anime from Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, and its English dub has a release date that is closer than you may expect. Despite the original manga releasing its 14 chapters in 2000, Sand Land has had a resurgence in 2024 with a gigantic open-world action game and anime series that both expand on the original story. While the subbed version of the Sand Land anime has been an adventure Toriyama fans won’t want to miss, those waiting for the English release have less than a week to wait.

Sand Land‘s story follows a mysterious old man named Sheriff Rao whose quest to find a fabled water spring in the desert forces him to collaborate with demons Beezelbub and his companion Thief. Appearances and reputations are flipped on their heads as the trio’s bond grows, and a sinister plot from Sand Land’s shady government unravels. The first two episodes of Sand Land‘s English dubbed will be available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ on April 10, 2024.

According to Hulu’s schedule, English audiences can finally enjoy the anime of Toriyama’s story about the Demon Lord’s son, Beelzebub, and the big world of Sand Land. It’s known that the Sand Land The Series will be 13 episodes long. So far, its first six episodes have adapted Akira Toriyama’s manga almost to a tee. The series extends on the Sand Land movie, released to a very limited audience in 2023. Still, thankfully, it will soon be more accessible to a larger audience.
