The interesting question is whether the heightened publicity is also tied to a marketing strategy on Lucasfilm’s part, because there’s been excited chatter about the possiblity of Ahsoka season 2, which is yet to be announced.
Ahsoka‘s ending left a lot of loose threads. Some will be harder to tie up than others; Ray Stevenson sadly passed away before Ahsoka aired, meaning his popular character Baylan Skoll will either be recast or written out.
