Ahsoka Becomes An Inquisitor In Amazing Alternate Poster

Ahsoka Becomes An Inquisitor In Amazing Alternate Poster

An amazing Ahsoka poster imagines an alternate timeline in which Ahsoka joins the ranks of the Imperial Inquisitors. Ahsoka Tano, while she officially abandoned the Jedi at the end of Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 6, embodies the spirit of what a Jedi is supposed to be. She is kind, desires to help the common people, holds strongly to the core principles and original mission of the Order even after she leaves, and, as the Ahsoka TV show displayed, wants to be a peacekeeper more than a warrior. One cospaly, however, poses the question of what would happen if Ahsoka chose a different, darker path after the Clone Wars.

How To Watch Star Wars Movies In Order

Here is how to watch all Star Wars movies and TV shows chronologically and in order of release, and how each fits into the Star Wars timeline.

The poster features moraicosplay dressed as Ahsoka, but with a villainous twist: Ahsoka as an Inquisitor. Rather than wearing any of the outfits Ahsoka is seen wearing, this version of the character wears the all-black leather outfit with pointed shoulder pads of the Imperial Inquisitors. She feels like a true apprentice of Darth Vader, rather than of Anakin Skywalker.

Brandishing two red lightsabers and sporting smudged black eyeshadow around her eyes and black lipstick, Ahsoka stares at the camera with a sinister smirk. The costume is reminiscent of Ahsoka’s character design when she was briefly taken over by The Son, the Mortis god manifestation of the dark side of the Force in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It’s a truly chilling portrayal.

Ahsoka Experiences The Dark Side While Possessed By The Son

Ahsoka possessed by The Son

When Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka are transported to the mysterious and deadly planet of Mortis in Star Wars: The Clone Wars episodes “Overlords,” “Altar Of Mortis,” and “Ghosts Of Mortis,” The Son immediately takes notice of Anakin’s power with the Force, and desiring to wield Anakin’s power to take power from The Father, The Son possesses Ahsoka. He forces her to fight Anakin and Obi-Wan and delivers the message that, if Anakin doesn’t comply, she will be killed. Eventually, The Son’s corruption does kill Ahsoka, but she is quickly resurrected by the dying Daughter, the manifestation of the light side of the Force.

This is why Ahsoka’s owl friend, Morai, follows her around throughout Star Wars: Rebels and Ahsoka. Morai is connected to The Daughter, and Ahsoka carries The Daughter’s essence. This is especially interesting because it means that Ahsoka carries the very essence of the light side of the Force inside of her. This alternate timeline imagined by the poster, then, may not include the Mortis arc at all. Alternatively, it could be imagining what would have happened to Ahsoka if The Son’s corruption remained but didn’t kill her – or even if she had embraced the dark side in Ahsoka while in the World Between Worlds with her former Master.
