National Geographic brings a Disney/Pixar classic into the real world with A Real Bug’s Life. The upcoming nature documentary series takes cues from the hit 1998 film, using that movie’s insects and scale as a jumping off point for telling the true stories behind the lives of some of the world’s smallest creatures. A Real Bug’s Life aims to prove that the lives of its subjects are just as interesting as those of their animated counterparts, if not more.
This new National Geographic Disney+ special is narrated by Awkwafina, the actor and comedian known for her work in films and shows like Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Raya and the Last Dragon.
