A League Of Their Own Cast & Character Guide

A League Of Their Own Cast & Character Guide

Amazon Prime Video’s A League of Their Own series revives the classic sports comedy with all new characters and a fresh cast to play them. While the movie cast of A League of Their Own includes Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, and Lori Petty, a new generation of actors are now re-imagining the iconic story. The series continues to focus on the Rockford Peaches of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League but follows a different set of stories.

Some members of the cast of A League of Their Own bring their own baseball experience to the series. While training camps prepared most of the actors for the show’s baseball sequences, series regular Kelly McCormack was among those who had already played the sport. Her co-star Melanie Field had similarly played softball in a league for Broadway cast members before joining this show.

Many of the stories in the A League of Their Own show focus on Black and LGBTQIA+ women who tried out for the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. The series tells these stories with a diverse cast, including queer actresses Abbi Jacobson and Roberta Colindrez. Chanté Adams and Gbemisola Ikumelo lead a key storyline about Black women baseball players excluded from the league and their efforts to keep playing. Here’s a guide to all the characters and cast of A League of Their Own to explore Prime Video’s new Rockford Peaches.
