Veronica Rodriguez from 90 Day Fiancé shared pictures from the first night she spent in San Diego with Jamal Menzies. Veronica, a 37-year-old single mom from North Carolina, became a reality TV star thanks to 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 3, which featured her ex Tim Malcolm and his then-girlfriend Jeniffer Tarazona. Fans loved Veronica and Tim’s chemistry and hoped they’d get back together. However, Veronica went on 90 Day: The Single Life season 3 to find a new partner, which unfortunately she never did. But Veronica introduced her new man Jamal at the Single Life Tell-All.
Veronica’s mystery boyfriend was teased in Single Life Tell-All promos for weeks, and the 90 Day Fiancé fans figured out it was Kim Menzies’ son Jamal. The plot twist, though, was Jamal revealing he’s not 90 Day Fiancé cast member Veronica’s literal boyfriend and is sleeping with other women on the side. Veronica spoke about how being from Charlotte and Jamal being from San Diego prompted them to start an open relationship. In her new Instagram post, Veronica posted photos of her trip to California, where she met Jamal. The pair looked like they were enjoying each other’s company as they sipped on Tiki cocktails at a bar and posed in front of tropical wallpaper. Veronica was all smiles as Jamal planted a kiss on her head in a picture.
Veronica Met Jamal At Before The 90 Days Tell-All
Veronica at first said that she met her unknown love interest “casually,” which was strange since fans knew it was Jamal because of his rings and the bracelets on his hands. But during the Single Life Tell-All Part 3, 90 Day Fiancé fan-favorite Veronica explained that she first saw Jamal during the Before the 90 Days season 5 Tell-All; this was the season in which his mom Kim made her debut alongside Usman “Sojaboy” Umar. It seems Veronica was the one who started chatting with Jamal back then because when it came to her planning a San Diego trip, he was the one she reached out to.
Miami-born Veronica asked Jamal about what she could see or do in San Diego. Then Jamal offered to be her guide in the city. He even told her that he could take Veronica to dinner. When asked by 90 Day Fiancé host Shaun Robinson about whether they ended up having sex on their first date, the couple had a positive reply. But at the same time, Jamal confessed he wasn’t exclusive with 90 Day Fiancé star Veronica, admitting he was dating and sleeping with other people with “protection.” Meanwhile, the very giddy Veronica claimed she was too busy to date anyone else.
Veronica’s end goal is to get married, and she even claimed she’s had a word about it with Jamal. But the 27-year-old was quick to feign ignorance, which didn’t go unnoticed by their 90 Day Fiancé cast members. Jamal seems to be interested in living a single life for as long as he can, and he doesn’t seem to be ready to potentially commit to one person. Still, 90 Day Fiancé fans, who at first were excited about this new couple, are now furious about Jamal’s casualness and praying for Pillow Talk star Veronica to find everlasting love.
