It was Kim Menzies’ son Jamal, but he was 27 and refused to be in a committed relationship with Veronica while she was looking for a husband. ET shared a preview of the next episode, revealing that Veronica and Jamal are “exclusive” in 90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life season 4.
They have been flying back and forth from San Diego, California, to Charlotte, North Carolina, to see one another. In the video, Veronica admits that things between them have been going “pretty well.” However, Veronica is still concerned about what their future holds because Jamal is not a “good communicator,“ according to Veronica.

Veronica knows that communication is the only thing that will make their long-distance romance work. The clip shows Jamal making breakfast for them while revealing that he spent the week with her in Charlotte. Veronica decides to confront Jamal about her concerns and says that while they always get along well when they’re together, the second he leaves, he “sucks at communication.” Veronica reveals that Jamal doesn’t text her back at all. He replies to her messages the next day. “We don’t have to talk 24/7,” he tells her, which makes Veronica feel sad. Jamal asks her what they would keep talking about all day.

He’s not interested in asking her things like how she is doing. Jamal tells the cameras that he’s always been a face-to-face person. He can see that Veronica takes his unavailability personally, and it reveals her insecurity. He insists that while Veronica claims “he never talks to me,” it’s never been the case. Meanwhile, Veronica confesses to the cameras that she wants to “settle down forever ever with someone.” She wishes for things to keep going well for her and Jamal’s relationship. She thinks the whole thing is worth it, but she worries that if something goes wrong, it would “crush” her.
Veronica is at a stage in life where she is looking for a second husband. She was married to her first husband when she was 20. She had met him in college and gotten pregnant with her daughter Chloe. Veronica moved from Miami to North Carolina, and the man ended up cheating on her. Veronica immediately divorced him. Veronica’s relationship with Tim also lasted for less than a decade. She is now yearning for companionship.
