After months of denying a nose job that fans had even found proof of, 90 Day Fiancé star Yara Zaya has finally admitted to it on the season 8 Tell-All. The Ukrainian fashionista got married to NOLA’s party boy Jovi Dufren on the recently aired finale, which also coincided with the couple’s baby special. But the Tell-All is where Yara spilled her best-kept secret by coming clean about her plastic surgery experience as she defended it in a tense argument with 90 Day Fiancé co-star Julia Trubkina.
When Yara, 25, first made her appearance on 90 Day Fiancé as the cranky wife-to-be of Jovi, 29, some fans figured they’d seen the blonde beauty before. Soon enough, the internet found proof of Yara’s reality TV appearances from when she was 19 and known as Yaroslava back home. But apart from seeing Yara claim, she was looking for rich, foreign men to marry even then and they saw how she looked nothing like her 90 Day Fiancé self. But it was in a different dating show from a year later, when a clip showed Yara admitting to a nose job in 2014, which she later promptly denied on Instagram.
The young mother Yara had once even claimed that her nose looked different thanks to “makeup and light” when answering fan questions on Instagram. However, it was during the 90 Day Fiancé Tell-All when Rebecca Parrott showed off the results of her liposuction and Natalie Mordovtseva complained about her nose that Yara admitted to her nip and tuck enhancement. As Rebecca told Natalie that she need not do it since it’s someone else asking her to, Yara said she sees “nothing wrong with that.” Jovi’s wife continued, “If somebody don’t like something on themselves, change it,” and revealed that her issue was that her nose was “a potato.”
Upon 90 Day Fiancé host Shaun Robinson asking if she had her nose done, Yara replied, smiling, “yes, I did,” as she added, “and four years ago I was doing my lips too. And again how I say, there is nothing wrong to do with surgery.” Yara spoke about “not accepting” herself when she looked in the mirror and how she “had to fix the situation.” After Julia said that if someone is “young,” they do not need to get operated upon, Yara claimed “everybody has them own face and they have the rules to do whatever they want.”
But even if the heated conversation may have been one of the highlights of the 90 Day Fiancé Tell-All, Julia and Yara seem to have buried the hatchet to respect each others’ opinions. The ladies were joined by their star husbands for dinner and drinks after the taping of the Tell-All in Los Angeles as per a picture posted by Julia. Meanwhile, Yara finally opening up about plastic surgery may not come as a surprise for many, especially after her before and after pics on the internet. It could be that the 90 Day Fiancé star wanted to save the juicy revelation for the worthy opportunity of the Tell-All.
