David Murphey from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days has developed a close relationship with another star, Amira Lollysa, but many viewers are unconvinced by their romance and believe David might miss his ex fiancée Lana. David first appeared on season 4 with Lana, where it was revealed he only spoke to her on a paid app and he had spent over $300,000 during their seven years of communicating. Aside from that, most people believed she was a catfish because he had attempted to meet her on several occasions, all of which she had an excuse for ghosting him. However, some viewers believe 90DF’s David might’ve moved on and with a co-star who also had a heart-wrenching experience on 90 Day Fiancé.
Before Covid-19, Amira was dating Andrew Kenton and they made plans to meet in Mexico but the surge in the beginning of Covid put a damper on their plans. Nonetheless, Amira stayed committed, even when the airport detained her for allegedly not having her passport. Andrew seemed unfazed as he stayed in Mexico by himself and the two eventually called it quits. However, now that David and Amira are presumably single, a few social media posts have viewers convinced the two are in a romantic relationship. Unfortunately, there are still many viewers who are less convinced and believe David may still be interested in Lana.
While 90DF’s Amira has moved on from her ex-boyfriend Andrew before, it appears this may be David’s first attempt to move on after his breakup with Lana. Despite their cozy pictures that seem to hint at a romantic relationship, 90DF’s David denies having a girlfriend. Additionally, when a fan asked David who he thought was prettier between the two women, he refused to answer, which hinted to fans that he may still have feelings for Lana but didn’t want to hurt Amira’s feelings if they were together.
David’s cringeworthy past with Lana hints it hasn’t been easy for him to move on. David made numerous trips over the seven years and only saw Lana once. On the Tell All for season 4, he revealed they hadn’t spoken in a few weeks, but he still considered Lana to be his fiancée. He was convinced for almost a decade that the woman he was supposed to be with was Lana, which makes it even more difficult to believe the potential relationship between David and Amira will work out, especially since he still has photos of Lana on his Instagram.
Regardless of the lack of official relationship titles, it appears the two have found solace in one another. Amira calls David her “bff” on social media and the two are keeping tight lips on how close they really are. Although they might be an unconvincing couple, viewers are excited to see the two in better and happier places than they were last seen.
