90 Day Fiancé cast members Usman Umar a.k.a. Sojaboy and Angela Deem have been throwing wild accusations at each other and fans are curious to understand when the war between these controversial reality TV stars really started. Despite being busy avoiding the advances of his “potential” girlfriend Kim Menzies on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5, Usman has also taken it upon himself to expose “scammer” Angela. Among the various accusations being thrown out, Usman claims that Angela cheated on her Nigerian husband Michael Ilesanmi. Sojaboy also said that Angela has been scamming Michael since 2018 and has basically started a few rumors about the couple’s split. All things considered, viewers want to understand if there is a reason why Usman is feuding with Angela in the first place.
Michael, who hasn’t had an Instagram page of his own for the longest time, recently posed with Usman for a new picture. Usman tagged Michael’s reactivated IG account in the post and shocked fans who had predicted Michael and Angela had split up. To prove them right, Angela reposted their photo and wrote, “Birds of a feather flock together” while revealing that she’d blocked Michael. Usman, meanwhile, shared his own IG story captioned, “After using him to film for over 4 years and used all his money from Cameo to buy yourself a house and still refused to take him to the US and leave him.” Not one to stay calm, Angela retaliated by nicknaming Usman “Snoozeman” and asking him to try again. As expected, Usman then went on to call Angela a “pig” and a “wicked and heartless woman” as he explained why he was accusing her of using Michael for money and fame.
The entire fight between Angela and Usman at this point in time looks like a game of tit for tat. The first instance of Angela and Usman clashing in public was during their appearance in a 2021 episode of the Discovery+ spin-off 90 Day: Bares All. Usman appeared in episode 10 to promote his new single and Angela ambushed Julia Trubkina and Brandon Gibbs – which she’d done on a previous episode. Angela went on to star in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6 and Shaun Robinson treated fans to a preview clip of Angela flirting with her weight loss surgeon Dr. Obeng. Overall, Angela’s segment overlapped with Usman and the real battle began.
Angela didn’t seem too pleased to be sharing screentime with Usman, who spoke about how his life had been good after releasing his EP as well as getting a new house and car. “That’s what your whole plan was to get in this to make yourself well, huh?” Angela exclaimed. Usman replied, “No, everybody wants to live a better life in this life but that was not the plan.” Angela said Usman is “full of s**t” and a “scammer.” Usman retorted, “You can’t call me a scammer [without any] evidence.” In turn, Angela explained that Michael got denied his K-1 because “people like that make it hard for people that [are] real in relationships.”
After Angela was asked to leave, Usman swore that this was the first time he’d ever interacted with her and that he’d never even contacted Michael before. He was shocked because he never speaks ill about anybody. 90 Day Fiancé host Shaun had hoped for Usman and Angela to sort things out in the future, which hasn’t gone according to plan. Unlike Angela, Usman seems to have proof that she’s used Michael’s money to get plastic surgery and buy a house. For now, fans suspect Angela and Michael aren’t together but do want Usman to share more details about what went with the couple.
