The couple talked every day until they met in a place she had always wanted to visit, Las Vegas. 90 Day Fiancé’s Andrew admitted that his heart was beating like a “cartoon cat” when he saw Amira for the first time, and it took only three days before he proposed to her on a balcony at their hotel. Unfortunately, while Amira did receive her K-1 visa, which is valid only for five months, she got the visa the same day that President Trump announced a travel ban in Europe.
With her American 90 Day Fiancé lover having found a “loophole” for the pair to quarantine for 14 days at a beach resort in Mexico, and then cross the border, Amira was detained. Amira’s phone remained turned off throughout the debacle, leaving TLC fans wondering if she’d made the right decision about wanting to marry Andrew. However, during her 90 Day Fiancé introduction, Amira revealed that she didn’t feel like she belonged in France “like, 100%,” as she didn’t think she fit in. She’s someone who likes makeup and reading about makeup news, and Amira admitted that her small city Saumur was restrictive. Amira is “just half French” and half Egyptian.
