90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Rishi Singh’s mother, Shimla, is against her son getting married to Jen Boecher because of the American woman’s age. Oklahoma resident Jen was on a solo trip to India when model and personal trainer, Rishi, happened to meet her in a hotel. It wasn’t love at first sight for Jen when Rishi showed her his modeling photos, but as they spent more time together, Rishi proposed to Jen, and she agreed, all within a month’s time. Jen expected Rishi to marry her when she met him following a two-year gap because of the pandemic travel ban.
Instead, Rishi’s family was busy trying to find a bride for him. When Jen decided to take matters into her own hands and told Rishi’s family about their engagement, they agreed.
