Although 90 Day Fiancé follows Americans who found love overseas, it has also shown fans several talented musicians from the cast. Some of the show’s stars leverage their fame to become Instagram influencers or models. Others choose to use their time after the show to make music.
While a lot of people from the series and its many spinoffs pursue music, some are definitely more successful at it than others. Those who do succeed often grow sizable fanbases that support their singles or albums, and watch their music videos. Those who are less successful may get a little shade from 90 Day Fiancé fans, but most reality stars do grow thick skins eventually.
Though fans recognize most 90 Day Fiancé cast members from each of their turbulent journeys to find love, many have successful side gigs outside of the show. For 90 Day Fiancé season 5’s Molly Hopkins, that came in the form of another reality show following her lingerie shop. Another notable name is season 8’s Yara Zaya, who has appeared in Ukrainian reality shows when she was just 19 years old. Whether through TV or music, the 90DF cast certainly knows how to entertain fans.
4. Jibri Bell
Jibri Bell is on 90 Day Fiancé season 9 after falling in love with his Serbian fiancé, Miona Bell. He is the frontman of a popular band called Black Serbs, which he started with his high school best friend, who was a Serbian refugee. Jibri also works as a solo artist, as he has not been able to perform for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He teased some of his songs on 90 Day Fiancé, and fans are already loving his unique “space punk” music.
3. Yamir Castillo
Yamir Castillo is one of the 90 Day Fiancé cast members who built a successful career before he ever appeared on the show. He was introduced to fans in season 2, and met his then-fiancee when he was performing in his boy band, Myla Vox, in his native Nicaragua. While Yamir is not one of the most well-known musicians from 90 Day Fiancé, he still has a loyal fanbase, and fans continue to gush about his beautiful singing voice.
2. Usman “Sojaboy” Umar
Usman “Sojaboy” Umar may not have come onto 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days with the purest intentions (either time), but he keeps fans entertained with his relationship drama and music. Sojaboy’s music even sparked one of the biggest fights of B90 season 5 when it was revealed that his song “Zara” was about his actual ex, a fact he kept from girlfriend, Kim Menzies. Though fans initially rolled their eyes at Usman’s music, “Zara” has become a hit, with hundreds of positive comments complimenting the catchy song and his improvement as an artist.
1. Evelyn Cormier
Singer Evelyn Cormier is the youngest 90 Day Fiancé cast member, as she got married on season 5 when she was just 18 years of age. While her marriage to 27-year-old David Vázquez Zermeño had many problems and was not destined to last, fans did get to discover her beautiful singing voice. After 90 Day Fiancé, Evelyn took her talents to American Idol season 17, making it all the way to top 14. Many fans have compared her singing voice to music legend, Cher, and love hearing her amazing covers of famous songs.
