90 Day Fiancé: Stephanie Matto Reveals She’s Had Chin Liposuction ‘To Feel Better’

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star and OnlyFans entrepreneur Stephanie Matto recently revealed that she’s undergone plastic surgery to improve her self-image. Like another 90 Day Fiancé celeb, Larissa Dos Santos Lima, Stephanie feels empowered by cosmetic procedures.

Matto appeared on season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. She was filmed traveling to Australia to meet her long-distance girlfriend Erika Owens. However, the trip was turbulent, thanks to frequent fights between Matto and Owens over Owens’ friendships with former sexual partners. There were also problems with Matto’s passive-aggressive communication style and unwillingness to come out to her mother. While the pair attempted to repair their 90 Day Fiancé relationship, the couple broke up before Matto flew back to the United States. Matto, who is bisexual, came out to her family after returning home. Owens, who is also bisexual, is in a new relationship.

Matto is opening up about the reasoning behind her decision to go under the knife, her thoughts on body image as a public figure, and the potential health risks she faced. In a recent YouTube video from her Stepanka channel, Matto explained that she had undergone chin liposuction to remove a pocket of fat from underneath her chin. She did this in order to feel her best. Matto reassured fans that her aplastic anemia (a rare and life-threatening blood condition that complicated overseas travel and placed stress on her relationship with Owens) is now in remission, so it didn’t complicate her plastic surgery procedure. She also shared that her mother, who is caring for her post-op, has expressed her disapproval over the procedure. Stephanie seems comfortable with herself regardless.

According to 90 Day Fiancé star Matto, she “preach[es] self-love,” and she acknowledges that “all of us suffer from insecurities about certain parts of our bodies”. She revealed that her displeasure with the look of her chin was exacerbated by watching herself on TV. She also expressed that while she is not a fan of overdone plastic surgery that causes people to not “look like themselves anymore,” she recommends researching well-trained professionals who value ethics over money.

Matto follows in the footsteps of other 90 Day Fiancé stars like Darcey Silva, Angela Deem, and Anfisa Nava who have also undergone cosmetic procedures. However, Matto’s opinion that wanting excessive plastic surgeries is indicative of a “mental disorder” puts her at odds with fellow 90 Day Fiancé star Larissa Dos Santos Lima, whose desire for a plastic look has been well-documented on the current season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After
