90 Day Fiancé: Stephanie Claims Relationship With Ryan Wasn’t Fake

90 Day Fiancé: Stephanie Claims Relationship With Ryan Wasn’t Fake

Since being uninvited from the 90 Day Fiancé season 8 Tell-All, Stephanie Davison has now claimed that her relationship with Ryan Carr was certainly not fake despite media reports. The Skin Envy owner hosted two sessions of her own Sofa Talk with Steph to share the truth behind her reality TV debut. Not only did Stephanie openly claim that her storyline on 90 Day Fiancé was contrived but also mentioned how the behind-the-scenes was much juicier considering her scenes with Harris Flowers were scripted. However, Stephanie also discussed that certain headlines about her relationship with Ryan being fake are absolutely untrue.

The season 8 alum Stephanie had been the talk of the town since her appearance on 90 Day Fiancé, thanks to her calling herself a “cougar” and talking about her age-defying routines. While TLC viewers had seen a fair share of large age gaps between older women and younger men on the show, Stephanie’s story with her 27-year-old “cub” Ryan became far more controversial. With Stephanie hinting at Ryan mistreating her during filming, and her later moving on fast to his cousin Harris she’d hooked up with earlier, the Skin Envy owner caused confusion. Certain scenes on 90 Day Fiancé alluding to Stephanie being intoxicated led to fans asking if she was on drugs and alcohol.

However, Stephanie tried squashing all these rumors about her that assassinated her character on her own Tell-All that also featured her friends and family. Stephanie then revealed how she had actually broken up with Ryan in mid-August 2020. Stephanie had then immediately called the 90 Day Fiancé producers about what happened, including the fact that he was also bribing her. “I really don’t understand this show you want me on, I need more money,” Ryan had told Stephanie despite her paying “thousands of dollars” to keep a roof over his head and feed his family. However, the producers had apparently told Stephanie, “you need to do this. You need to pay Ryan. What does it matter to you if you’re giving him money all the time anyway? What do you care if he’s bribing you? We’re going to make you famous.”

90 Day Fiancé: Stephanie Claims Relationship With Ryan Wasn’t Fake

Despite her saying this in her part 1 on Instagram, 90 Day Fiancé star Stephanie did part 2 of Sofa Talk with Steph, where she mentioned someone sending her an article. This article said, “Stephanie admits on Sofa Talk with Steph that her entire relationship with Ryan was fake.” The former 90 Day Fiancé star added, “that’s totally untrue, I’m thinking ‘what show did they watch?’” Stephanie then clarified that Ryan and she had a relationship and it wasn’t until the bribing started that she decided that they were done, and “done for good.”

On 90 Day Fiancé, Stephanie had revealed that she had met Ryan at a beach in Belize three-and-a-half years ago, after which they had a platonic relationship. However, with Ryan on her mind even after she flew back to America, Ryan was constantly on her mind, which made her return to him four months later and become a couple. But Stephanie seems to have moved on from Ryan and is also content with 90 Day Fiancé season 8 ending for good. “I’m just kind of glad that everybody’s gonna be moving on to a new set of people that they control,” Stephanie added, referring to the upcoming 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6.
