90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk’s Darcey Silva and twin sister Stacey Silva have gone from reality TV to Spotify after releasing their debut single as Silva Twins. The famous twin-sister duo came out with their first song as singers of “Lock Your Number.”
The twins got their start in entertainment when the mother of two, Darcey, pursued long-distance love on season one of the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. On season 1 and 2 of the series, Darcey traveled all the way from Connecticut to meet her much younger long-distance boyfriend, Jesse Meester, all the way in Amsterdam. The couple fell apart and have since parted ways before the engagement, and Darcey is trying her hand at love again in the upcoming season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. The trailer for the season shows that Darcey is newly engaged to entrepreneur and London native, Tom Brooks. In the meantime, before fans can watch her new on-screen romance, she and her twin sister, Stacey, are starring on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk, where the fan-favorite couples invite viewers into their home to watch the new episodes of 90 Day Fiancé as they react to the drama and add their commentary.
The 44-year-old twins Darcey and Stacey are known as reality stars and TV personalities, but what fans may not have known is that they are also singers, as they recently came out with their debut single “Lock Your Number” as the Silva Twins. The duo described the song on CDBaby as a “fun Party dance song which has a very catchy appealing memorable hook that everyone can relate to.” The single is a taste of what fans can expect from their full-length album. Darcey posted a link to her track on Spotify on her personal Instagram (seen below).
On the post, many fans had positive feedback to give to the budding artists, with one fan writing, “You and your twin rock!!! Love you guys!” The track has a solid dance beat and a chorus with a catchy hook, and though there were some mixed reviews, the overall response hasn’t been entirely negative – even though some heavily auto-tuned vocals run the risk of pushing them past the point of recognizable as the reality TV stars 90 Day Fiancé fans have grown to know.
As this is their debut song as the Silva Twins, it’s unclear as to when fans can expect the release of their full EP, let alone a music video. And, at the moment, it remains to be seen if the Silva Twins have a future in a music career. In the meantime, fans can still watch Darcey attempting to find “the one” on the upcoming season of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, and watch the twins in their natural habitat on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk on TLC.
