Ximena and Mike come from drastically different worlds. Mike lives a low-key life with his father and grandfather in New York and helps care for the men while he has limited dating experience. In contrast, Ximena has a dark past that Mike was unprepared to hear about. Ximena got pregnant first at 14 and then after a conjugal visit, while she also dated a hitman. Mike was most upset to discover that Ximena had been voluntarily sterilized, since Mike had his heart set on having kids. Mike eventually decided he was happy to raise Ximena’s young sons with her, and he asked the two boys if he could be their father. However, fans think that Mike might be moving too fast, especially since his lack of hygiene is a major concern for Ximena.
User ShineConscious6006 took to Reddit voice their concerns about Mike becoming a husband to Ximena and a step-parent to her children. “Mike is like a child himself. He seems to have no discernible life skills,” the user wrote. The user added that Mike cannot cook, clean or make the best decisions. Additionally, they were unhappy that Mike blamed his lack of hygiene on having ADHD, as many viewers don’t think his condition excuses his messy and unhygienic behavior. Overall, the user felt that Mike would not be able to provide children with a functioning household at this point in his life. “Dude blames ADHD on his terrible hygiene. No, Mike.
