90 Day Fiancé: Kim Calls Usman A ‘Loving Person’ Despite Tell-All Reveal

Kim Menzies walked out of the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Tell-All when it was revealed that Usman “Sojaboy” Umar called his ex-girlfriend, but she’s still sharing sweet posts about him on social media. San Diego local Kim flew to Tanzania to meet Nigerian musician SojaBoy in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5. Usman invited Kim to Tanzania to attend the music video shoot for his song “Zara.” Although Usman didn’t tell Kim until the end of the season, the song was dedicated to his ex-girlfriend Zara.

Shortly before Kim flew back to the United States, Sojaboy confessed the song was about his ex. He said they split up four months before he met Kim in Tanzania. However, he had also been talking to Kim during that time, and she didn’t know he was in a relationship. The pair had an explosive fight, and they almost broke up. However, Kim forgave Usman before she left. After she got on the plane, however, Usman FaceTimed Zara and asked her if she missed anything about him. When the footage was played at the Tell-All, Kim was shocked that he had called Zara behind her back.

Recently, Kim took to Instagram to praise Usman for the work he does with his charity foundation, USB (or Usman Sojaboy). In the caption, Kim said, “I know you & I know you’re a loving person!” The reality star added, “It’s truly amazing what you do for your community.” The post contained photos and videos of Sojaboy and other members of USB passing out boxes of food to children. Many 90 Day Fiancé fans in the comments joined Kim in praising Usman and said they wished his charity work was shown on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. However, some fans accused Kim of creating the post in order to do “damage control” after the Tell-All.

Kim clapped back, explaining that “there’s more to life than the show.” In another comment, Kim told her followers she made the post not for “damage control” but because Sojaboy gives “100 people food” each year throughout the month of Ramadan. She added that Usman provides food for those in need during other times of the year as well. The USB Charity Foundation also commented on the post to let followers know that Kim’s post is “about charity not about the relationship.”

Whether or not they doubt her intentions behind the post, many fans agreed that they want to learn more about Sojaboy’s charity. On the show, viewers learn a lot about Sojaboy’s music and his relationships but nothing about USB. In some scenes, Kim and Usman are seen wearing shirts that say USB on them, but this is the only mention of the organization. Kim’s sweet post suggests that she and Usman are still together, so perhaps 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days fans will be able to learn about Usman’s charity in a future season.

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC.
