90 Day Fiancé: Jovi Teases New Project With Video Featuring Franchise Stars

Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya from 90 Day Fiancé are working on a new project and just released a teaser video with some of their fellow cast members. Jovi recently quit his job as an ROV supervisor, which required him to be traveling much of the time. The New Orleans man said he decided to leave his job so that he could spend more time at home with Yara and their young daughter, Mylah. Entrepreneur Yara has also allegedly been quite successful with her jobs as a social media influencer, as well as with her clothing company and makeup line.

Fans were first introduced to Jovi and Yara in 90 Day Fiancé season 8. Before Ukrainian woman Yara moved to New Orleans in order to be with Jovi, the couple traveled around the world together. They visited countries such as Bali, Croatia and Cuba. The adventurous couple originally connected on a dating app that was intended for travelers to make romantic connections with each other. Jovi recently explained to his followers that the app they met on doesn’t exist anymore. This is perhaps one of the factors motivating the couple to start their new project.

Recently, Jovi shared a teaser video for his new project with his wife, which he explained is a “way to bring international couples together.” In the caption, he asked his followers if any of them would be interested in finding a romantic connection abroad. The humorous video began with Jovi and Yara people-watching outdoors, and Jovi asked Yara if she noticed all of the “lonely people in the street.” Yara agreed, adding that there are “so many” and then yelling out at an invisible passerby to ask if she “has a match.”

The video then cut to Kenneth Niedermeier and Armando Rubio lip-syncing to “Matchmaker” from Fiddler On The Roof. David Toborowsky and Annie Suwan joined in to sing the song in real time. David proclaimed that his wife is not a “catfish” as a picture of the animal catfish appeared on the screen. Then Molly Hopkins and her beau, Kelly Brown, joined as Molly comically sang about seeking a “slender and pale” groom while Kelly side-eyed her request. The whole video was set to the song “International Love” by Pitbull, which played quietly in the background. One fan commented that they didn’t understand the song choice, and Jovi explained that it’s simply because he doesn’t know how to make a Reel.

Judging from the teaser, it would seem that travel lovers Jovi and Yara are creating an international travel app. This would make total sense because the two met on a similar app and were able to travel all over before eventually starting a family. Because the app they met on no longer exists, they likely want to create a similar platform so that others can be able to meet in the way they did. Yara is no stranger to the entrepreneur lifestyle, so this will be another one of her ventures. Because many fans of 90 Day Fiancé are likely interested in international travel and the notion of finding a partner in another country, Jovi and Yara should have no trouble acquiring users for their new app.
