Jovi Duften from 90 Day Fiancé is giving fans a good chuckle with his sarcastic and snarky Instagram replies. While he asked his fans to entertain him in his questions sticker, it seems like Jovi ended up entertaining them with his clever responses to their questions.
Jovi Dufren is one of this season’s more controversial characters. Some fans love him and some don’t. The same can be said for his fiancée Yara from Ukraine. The couple met on a travel dating app while Jovi was working abroad. His job as an underwater robotics supervisor takes him all over the world, which was a benefit to him and Yara until she moved to his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. Jovi’s demanding schedule, which requires him to work for four weeks non-stop, has made Yara feel lonely. She is forced to stay in their apartment solo. In the most recent episode, Yara tells Jovi she’s pregnant and current spoilers (SPOILER ALERT) suggest that she had a baby girl last fall. However, Jovi and Yara have to keep the status of their relationship secret until the finale airs. That didn’t stop Jovi from engaging with his Instagram followers as he playfully answered their questions. He did remain coy about his current status.
Jovi opened up his Instagram story for questions with the prompt: “Entertain me!!” The first answer he posted read, “I love you,” and Jovi replied, “Good start 😂” One fan asked him, “Where can I find a Louisiana boy?” and Jovi sarcastically replied, “I’m no genius, but probably in Louisiana.” He also joked about his favorite travel destinations, after a fan asked him to list his top three. He said, “Bali, Brazil, and Costa Rica are the 3 I just keep going back to. So must mean something. And I think Ukraine comes in 4th.” Yara might not like him putting Ukraine fourth, but considering the skincare YouTuber’s sarcastic sense of humor, Jovi’s answer hints that they might just be a great match.
One fan posted Jovi’s humorous answers on Reddit, where they got more than 200 upvotes. Included in the post were screenshots of some more of his answers, including his response when a fan asked, “how many months is Yara.” He answered, “Something like 320 months old 🤷♂️” The fan captioned their post, “For a brief second, I really like Jovi.” One fan commented that the last slide made them laugh out loud. The slide in question was a fan asking him what Yara (who’s been called a “webcam schemer”) sees in him besides his body. Jovi dryly answered, “Must be my amazing personality.” Fans wondered why 90 Day Fiancé doesn’t really show Jovi’s humor. Drama seems to take precedence over lighthearted moments, leading some cast members to come off as more serious than they actually are.
Jovi’s quick-witted answers during his Instagram Q&A may have won him some new fans, but the next few 90 Day Fiancé episodes could earn him more haters if he doesn’t respond well to Yara’s pregnancy. However, it seems like Jovi will be able to clap back at any potential haters with a sarcastic IG caption or two.
