It was Angela’s stubbornness that made Dr. David Saadat drop the 90 Day Fiancé star as a patient from the facelift and chin plastic surgery when she refused to sign the smoking waiver. Dr. Saadat also threatened her with a $1,500 fine if she didn’t quit smoking four weeks before the facelift. However, had Angela gotten the surgery done, she would have had to shell out a hefty $25,000, which Michael wants her to spend on a baby instead.
Since her weight loss surgery, Angela has undoubtedly dropped pounds and gotten a skinny figure, which makes her look glam. It was after her weight grew by 20 pounds during her last Nigeria visit that the 90 Day Fiancé star realized something had to be done about this before it caused a health hazard. After revealing her plan of getting surgery on the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 5 Tell-All, fans saw Angela meet with Natasha Fett, of Mama June fame, and rumors of her getting a solo spin-off began to circulate. However, it was her season 6 storyline of HEA that ended up telling the tale of Angela’s weight loss journey, and it was reported that she’d had multiple surgeries done in a day in August 2020.
While neither Angela nor her doctors on 90 Day Fiancé were ever seen discussing the cost of her gastric balloon or breast reduction, it was only during the Dr. Saadat meeting that the $25,000 price tag created havoc. Michael thought Angela was in a rush, and Angela defended herself, saying she wanted to be a sexy wife for him. “Look at me, you know how much that is here?” a shocked Michael asked when he learned about the high price. 90 Day Fiancé‘s Angela dismissed him, saying it was her money and she’d already spent enough on the Nigeria trips, his car and even food.
