90 Day Fiancé: Did Kalani’s Father Do The Right Thing By Not Stepping In?

Did Kalani’s father do the right thing by not stepping in on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Fans were sympathetic to the father’s plight.

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? viewers are confused about why new father Asuelu Pulaa is not helping raise his children, making Kalani Faagata take over. Asuelu and Kalani are back and having a rough time with their two little boys under the age of 2. Last fans saw the couple they were getting their marriage back on track only to find out they were expecting. Asuelu is struggling with not being the man of the house. Asuelu’s customs are not helping him adapt to the American way of parenting.

The Samoan lashed out on Sunday’s all-new episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? at his wife, Kalani, and frankly acted like a toddler. According to Kalani, she drove all over to try and find her husband who had stormed off. The father of two sent three false pings to his wife, eventually caving in, and allowing her to pick him up. Asuelu is not currently in fans’ good graces since he has started to openly disrespect his wife. The reality star’s in-laws are also having a hard time not butting into the couple’s problems. The idea of calling Kalani a “lying bi*ch” did not sit well with Low, Kalani’s father.

Kalani’s father was vocally unsupportive of her relationship with Asuelu, chiefly as he did not want Kalani to marry someone born and raised in Samoa. But he did promise his daughter that he would not fight with her husband even though he was acting like a grown man child. Viewers are praising Low’s quiet resilience and knew that it was upsetting for him to watch his daughter suffer. Fans will recall that Low has had several conversations with his son-in-law in the past, but they have fallen on deaf ears. Even though Asuelu decided to lock himself in his room, Low still took the high road. The patriarch only told Asuelu that he should be outside with his son.

Throughout the entire episode, it was hard for fans to defend Asuelu’s behavior. Many took to social media in a show of support for Low who came out holding his head high. Asuelu really needs to shape up or ship out. Kalani is at her wit’s end and ready to end their marriage if he doesn’t.

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? airs Sundays at 8pm EST on TLC.
