Chantel and Pedro married each other during their time on 90 Day Fiancé season 4 and stayed together for years before problems between them became unbearable for both. In the episode, viewers see Pedro asking for a divorce as the camera’s cut to his wife’s confessional, in which she says, “Pedro, he can’t even look straight in my eyes and he tells me that he wants a divorce.” Chantel then claimed that the only probable cause of her husband’s unusual demeanor is that he’s “guilty of something.”
A few hours later, Chantel added another story to her Instagram, this time re-sharing a quote. The post read, “Live by ‘if someone wanted to, they would’ because it really is that simple.” The quote again hints at Chantel’s divorce situation with her husband, who seemingly didn’t want to work on their relationship when things got sour. In the latest episode, Chantel said something similar to Pedro when the two sat down to discuss. She said, “I really just wanted to know if you valued this marriage and were willing to work on it and the answer is no.”
Everything about the couple’s situation indicates that Pedro is eager to detach himself from Chantel because he probably cheated on her.
