Many 90 Day Fiancé fans consider “Big Ed” Brown to be one of a kind. Whether viewers like him or despise him, the 55-year-old is certainly unique. Big Ed came under fire for the way he treated his ex-girlfriend Rosemarie Vega on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. However, the San Diego native has since bounced back and earned plenty of money as an online entertainer. Despite his unique personality, Big Ed revealed that one franchise co-star is surprisingly like him.
While Rose has moved on to be a thriving YouTuber and Instagram star, Big Ed has continued within the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. He currently stars on the new Discovery+ show 90 Day: The Single Life. The program features eight franchise stars who are seeking love. Big Ed is also using the show as an opportunity to get his health in check and work through his relationship problems with a dating coach. While he is currently interested in a woman named Liz, the reality star recently revealed that he is also attracted to his 22-year-old co-star Fernanda Flores.
Big Ed has previously shared that he counts David and Annie Toborowsky among his favorite cast members and personal friends. However, he said that another popular franchise figure is most like him. He revealed that his feelings for Angela Deem quickly evolved. Prior to meeting her, Big Ed couldn’t stand the American grandmother. “I just thought she was like a bull in a China shop,” he said. However, after appearing on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk alongside Angela and his mother, Big Ed quickly reevaluated his feelings. “I like fell in love with her. She is the way she is and it’s real and she’s obnoxious- just like me,” he stated. “When she’s mad she opens her mouth.”
Big Ed added that he has since messaged Angela to let her know he’s a fan. “I wasn’t a fan of yours at first and now I dig you and respect you,” he said he shared in the message. He now considers Angela to be one of his all-time favorite 90 Day Fiancé cast members. Regarding his all-time favorite 90 Day Fiancé cast member, Big Ed jokingly revealed it to be himself. However, he did admit that he didn’t watch any of the 90 Day Fiancé shows before appearing on them and still rarely keeps up with the many franchise shows. The 55-year-old does consider Tom Brooks to be an entertainer. “Tom is kind of funny. He’s always dancing on Instagram,” Big Ed said. “I like watching him.”
One franchise star Big Ed also watches is Tom’s ex Darcey Silva. “Everybody finds Darcey interesting,” he said. “I’m trying to figure it out. She’s like so amazingly popular, so I do watch her stuff.” Big Ed also counts Avery Warner as a franchise member he is fond of. While his relationship with Rose went up in flames, the exes have since come to terms with their relationship. Rose publicly has forgiven her ex-boyfriend, and Big Ed has stated that he is happy for her success. While Rose’s story continues on social media, Big Ed is featured on 90 Day: The Single Life.
