The reality TV star first featured on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days season 4 alongside his then-girlfriend Rosemarie Vega. But she broke up with Ed towards the end of the show. While the San Diego native said he was heartbroken after the breakup, many viewers said he deserved to be dumped after consistently insulting Rose on national TV. Ed met Liz at a San Diego-based restaurant, and the pair soon started dating. In the beginning, many viewers thought that the 55-year-old photographer was genuinely in love with Liz. The couple even planned to move in together in Ed’s house, but then things took a drastic turn. The 90 Day Fiancé celeb Ed got into an explosive fight with Liz, and he asked her to get out of his house. Soon, a phone call surfaced on social media in which Ed abused Liz and talked to her very rudely.
After hearing that unsettling call, many 90 Day Fiancé fans canceled Big Ed on social media. However, it now seems like he needs his fans’ support and prayers. He posted a video on Instagram explaining that he is in hospital after catching a “nasty cough” in Mexico. Ed told his fans that his doctor and nurse were awesome, and they took care of him as soon as he came in. They are giving him steroids and antibiotics at the moment. In the video, the TLC star Big Ed is wearing a hospital gown and a face mask, and his voice is sounding dull.
He encouraged fans to get vaccinated and revealed that he got his dose in April. Ed also told fans to be nice to each other. It is possible that the egotistical Big Ed caught the COVID-19 infection. However, it is great to hear that he is already vaccinated. But it is confusing why Ed is claiming that he will be on TLC on Monday. There haven’t been any reports of him filming any new season. He hasn’t shared any new trailers on his Instagram. Besides, he is already receiving a lot of backlash on social media for disrespecting his last two partners. So it seems highly unlikely that TLC hired him for another 90 Day Fiancé spin-off.
