The opening few minutes of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? started off shaky with Angela revealing, “despite being separated and distanced, Michael and I sex life don’t lack nothing.” The scene has Michael dance provocatively on Angela’s laptop screen while sitting nude in a bathtub. A later scene has Michael confessing how his 90 Day Fiancé star wife calls him “oko mi” which means “my husband” and also adjusts the pronunciation slightly to make it also mean something dirty.
The 54-year-old nursing assistant’s reasoning for losing weight is to also “look sexy and attractive” but when Michael revealed he feared skinny Angela would leave him for some else, her reply freaked out fans further. One commenter said, “I really don’t need to see Angela and Michael having sex via FaceTime. Like for real. No one asked for this,” tweeted a 90 Day Fiancé viewer @jasriahxe, and @slim_lil_curvez retorted, “Angela and all these sex comments, got to go. Y’all can stop torturing us now.”
Some fans, meanwhile mean to be largely terrified of having to see the bathtub scene in the near future, while other TLC watchers asked if Angela’s grandkids left the room before she started talking dirty with Michael. However, even with all the backlash that 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? is getting thanks to Angela, it does look like the criticism will also be falling on TLC’s deaf ears.
