Episode 10 of My Hero Academia season 7 focused squarely on the battle with Endeavor, Hawks, Jiro, and Tokoyami up against All for One, as the team struck a massive blow to All for One, forcing him to reveal his secret weapon. Using one of the Quirk-deleting bullets made using Eri’s Quirk, All for One began to rewind himself, opening a whole new world of terror right as it seemed he was defeated.

Jiro has fought on bravely despite her injury, which saw All for One cut off one of her earphone jacks. Pinning All for One down temporarily with sound waves allowed Hawks to get in some major hits, badly damaging All for One’s life support helmet. Tokoyami also managed to land a solid blow, a hit which All for One drastically underestimated the power of. Endeavor managed to get himself together and get back into the fight, even after All for One ripped off one of his hands. Here’s how to tune in and watch the next episode at the earliest opportunity.

What Happened in My Hero Academia, Season 7, Episode #10?

All for One is Forced to Use His Secret Weapon

Endeavor delivers a powerful flame strike against All for One.

Episode 10 of My Hero Academia opened with Jiro’s horrible injury, as her earphone jack was ripped from her left ear. Jiro and Tokoyami fought courageously, regardless of their injuries, and managed to help Hawks out a great deal while Endeavor was on the ground recovering. Hawks was able to destroy All for One’s helmet after repeated strikes at the same spot, removing his life support system. Endeavor confronted his past and resolved to get back up and fight, blasting into the sky and delivering a powerful hit to All for One. In fact, it seemed Endeavor nearly had All for One bested before he pulled out his secret weapon: a serum based on Eri’s Rewind, allowing him to heal better than ever.

Meanwhile, at UA’s “Coffin in the Sky,” Bakugo began a full-frontal assault on Shigaraki, using new support items crafted specially for him to deliver a powerful blast to Shigaraki at point-blank range. However, Shigaraki just shrugged off the attack, stating that he still had no interest in Bakugo, other than his connection to Midoriya. Shigaraki retaliated, hitting Bakugo back hard as the other heroes watched in horror. The episode also took a moment to check in below decks at UA, with the crew keeping the school in the air, and a group of business students recording a documentary about the historic battle.

My Hero Academia Season 7, Episode #11 Sees Shigaraki’s True Horror

Shigaraki Takes Aim at Bakugo

Shigaraki rides upon his mass of fingers as it wreaks havoc across UA.

According to the manga, fans can expect episode 11, entitled “Light Turns to Rain,” to return to the fight against Shigaraki at UA. Shigaraki decides he’ll enrage Midoriya by killing Bakugo, making the young hero his new main target. The other heroes present, including Best Jeanist, Edgeshot, and Mirko, do their best to help protect Bakugo. UA’s Big Three, Lemillion, Nejire-chan, and Suneater, will be taking center stage in the next episode, aiming to deliver an attack so powerful that even Shigaraki won’t be able to recover from it easily.

Based on the episode title and the manga chapters being adapted, a major moment from the manga is about to occur. It would be a disservice to fans to reveal exactly what’s about to happen casually here, so that’s about all that can be said of the new episode without major spoilers. While the heroes are doing their best, it still feels like the villains, or at least All for One and Shigaraki, currently have the upper hand. The next episode of My Hero Academia is going to be a pivotal one that fans absolutely won’t want to miss.

In My Hero Academia, some humans have superpowers called quirks. Izuku Midoriya, nicknamed Deku, is not one of them. Deku has always idolized heroes like the number one hero, All Might, and since he was a child, he has always wanted to be a hero. However, his lack of a quirk has always held him back, but a chance encounter with All Might after discovering a classmate in danger sets Deku on the path to becoming a true hero. My Hero Academia centers around Deku and a class of heroes-in-training at UA. This school shapes young quirk users into future heroes through fake rescue missions, combat training, and other hero-tempering tasks. With young Deku inheriting the “One-For-All” quirk, he will learn what it means to be a true hero while facing off with dastardly supervillains.
