Following her recent power upgrade, Catwoman has also been upgrading her network of allies, rivaling Batman’s Bat-Family. A preview for Catwoman #67 shows the team in action, briefly highlighting its abilities. With more time and appearances, Selina Kyle’s team could prove to be an indispensable set of companions – and a true family for her the way Bruce Wayne’s adopted family is for him.

Catwoman #67 has the creative team of Tini Howard and Carmine di Giandomenico. Recently, the titular antiheroine has been given a major power-up similar to her Batman Returns film universe counterpart. She has nine lives thanks to a meteor and has lost the majority of them. It will take the aid of her Cat-Family to win her latest battle and keep her last life.

The latest preview for the upcoming issue shows them locked in hand-to-hand combat with their most recent foes, the White Glove, and a major struggle still ahead. However, Selina’s team could still be capable of saving Gotham City.

Selina Kyle Has Developed Her Own Team of Allies Prepared to Protect Gotham

Catwoman’s team has assembled in Gotham to take on the White Glove, with the preview showing several of them in action. It also shows additional allies ready to fight as Eiko, Gotham’s second Catwoman, has rallied the Hasigawa like Selina asked her to. Onyx Adams, Tomcat, and Scandal Savage are notable allies making up the Cat-Family, alongside Lady Clayface, who has proven to be an invaluable ally. The synopsis for Catwoman #67 – and the Cat-Family’s biggest challenge yet – is as follows:

NINE LIVES ENTERS ITS PENULTIMATE CHAPTER! SELINA RETURNS HOME… JUST IN TIME FOR THE FIGHT OF HER LIFE!

Selina’s journey has brought her everyhwere, from the deepest reaches of the ocean to the cold vacuum of space, but she’s out of places to hide. With enemies closing in all around her, there’s only one place left to go – home. Prepare for the fight of Selina’s life(s) as the White Glove launch their attack on Gotham City!

Like Batman, Catwoman has slowly been growing her network of allies. While they were gathered and united with one another under different circumstances, they are helping to protect Gotham City from one of its latest threats the way the Bat-Family so frequently does. Batman has grown from one Robin to several Robins, Batgirls, Batwoman, Signal, and other allies. Originally a villainess, Catwoman has also developed her own successful network in recent years since stepping moreso into an antiheroine role and Batman ally herself. While less acrobatic or tech-savvy than Robin and Oracle, Catwoman’s team is no less capable of thwarting their foes.

Catwoman Has a Strong Team Rallying Around Her

Many of Catwoman’s allies made their most recent debuts between 2014 and 2022, slowly making their way into her current team. One of the newest additions has been Dario Tomasso, also known as Tomcat. Lady Clayface is one of the older characters currently in her lineup, also having started out as a villain herself, like Catwoman did. However, this former villain has also proven to be one of Selina’s most loyal allies, outing Scandal Savage’s previous betrayal and true identity. With the current history this team has developed over recent years and more time together in the future, Catwoman’s Cat-Family could prove to be as effective as the Bat Family.

Catwoman #67 will be available July 17 from DC Comics.
